Welcome to Coweta Independent Baptist Church

We are a Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Coweta, Oklahoma. Our desire is to evangelize our community proclaiming God's Grace and Mercy!

If you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you also need to be saved. To be saved means God has given you life and enabled you to believe the Gospel and trust in Jesus Christ as the one and only way to be delivered from your sins and from the judgment of God. It is impossible to be trusting in and depending upon the blood of Jesus Christ as your only hope of salvation and then go to Hell because all the Father has given to the son shall come to the son – and shall never be cast out (John 6:37).

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved!

Here at Coweta Baptist Church, we are truly a church family. The fellowship is special. The support and encouragement of the people are very important to us. We believe in sweet Christian unity and fellowship until the Lord comes. We believe in a Godly Christian liberty, and that we have been made free by the grace of God for the purpose of serving him in our personal lives, families and church.

All that we believe and practice should be built upon Jesus Christ, the Sovereignty of God, and the Doctrines of Grace.

Our goals are:

1. To exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and the finished work He has accomplished through his death, burial, and resurrection, in all that we do.
2. To be a witness of the Gospel, to Coweta, the area around us, and the world.
3. For each of us to be growing in the Grace and Knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ – and to have a close walk with Him.
4. To stand for the truth of the Word of God, in a day of religious deception and greed.
5. To have a church with an exciting, enjoyable fellowship and worship that is both respectful and reverent, being always mindful of our unworthiness and need of God in our lives.
