Are you here because of sin?
If you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, the Bible refers to you as "lost". To be "saved" means God has given you life and enabled you to believe the Gospel and trust in Jesus Christ as the only way to be delivered from your sins and the judgment of God.
So why did you click the link to this page? Is it because you desire that your sins be forgiven? Do you feel a great sense of condemnation because of sin? There is only one who can forgive sins, only one who can remove the foreboding sense of condemnation because of sin and his name is Jesus.
Only with the forgiveness of sin is there spiritual life and light. We offer the following Scriptures to instruct you and rely upon the Spirit of God to create in you a spiritual life evidenced by repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 3:18-19 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Matthew 9:6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
Galatians 1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened (made alive) together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses...
Acts 16:30-21 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...
do you believe
what the Scripture tells us about Jesus? Are you believing on the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins? Have you cried out like this poor sinner, (Luke 18:13) "And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner." Are you now desiring to change the direction of your life? Believing on the Lord Jesus and a desire for change in your life is evidence of a new life, a forgiven life, a spiritual life.
At this point, we would encourage you to contact our Pastor to find out more about a life in Christ and what it means to be a disciple of the Lord Jesus, a true Christian.
